Creating a global controversy is Dr. Wafa Sultan, and Arab-American that resides in Los Angeles, speaking out against the radicalization of Muslims by the Wahabi sect of Islam.
On February 21, 2006, she took part in Al Jazeera's weekly 45-minute discussion program with Faisal al-Qassem and with Ibrahim Al-Khouli.
In a very powerful and thought provoking debate, she condemns the radicalization of Islam, and calls for a complete revision of Islamic religious ideologies, which in her view are based on tenets of tribal warfare.
