The North American Survival Alliance

In recent months I have been deluged with request from people from all across the globe to help them find survival groups, or to help them start their own group. Requests that keep pouring in with no end in sight. But, I understand; we are after all--living on the cusp of the 2012 Prophecies.

I’ve tried to answer everyone that has taken to time to send me a message. I’ve done my very best to help them with whatever that they were asking of me—short of having them come to Alaska and occupy the spare bedroom in my home.

After giving it much thought, I believe that the best thing that anyone can do, is to reach out to those people in their own area, and get busy making some serious survival plans. Now is NOT the time to be distant from your neighbors. I’ve learned that there is probably one survivalists that lives on every street, in every city. The job is to find out who they are,

So, I’ve tried to make it easy to find “likeminded” people. But, I need your help in getting the job done…

The link below is the portal to a brand new survival forum that I have put together in the last week. I’m hoping that each of you will take a moment to register, and then introduce yourself. Even Better—post some of your own skills, experiences, and survival knowledge, so that others can learn from our collective skillset.

The North American Survival Alliance Forum

Get the word out about this forum. Post it wherever you can; and let people know that we exist. It’s a free forum that doesn’t cost me a dime, and I don’t make a dime off it. It’s strictly to share the information, and get people together before the collapse of society.

Already I have spoken with a few people about setting up survival groups in New Jersey, Iowa, California, Texas, and Colorado. There are others, but we haven’t reached the actual agreement, so I will not post their states until I know for sure that they are on board.

Each of these State Groups will start from scratch. The Group (Interim) Leaders will be busy getting everything set-up, and will receive lots of instruction from me, and some of the people from my own group here in Alaska. We will try to emulate the success that The Alaska Watchmen Group has experienced, among those State groups.

But, I also have to tell you this: Each of the State Groups will operate under the exact same guidelines that my group does:

• The Group will not be a security blanket or welfare department for the unprepared. Just because a potential new member isn’t prepared, doesn’t automatically mean that they are rejected. But it does mean that they must show progress every month in getting their food supplies in order.
• The member must be able to stand on their own two feet when it comes to acquiring food, water, and supplies. Like I tell my new candidates here; “Don’t show up at our Rally Point or Safe Area empty handed” The group will vote whether we want to feed you, or send you packing.
• Each member will have to understand when they say “I Got Your Back !”; it means just that, and nothing less!
• The Group operates as a TEAM, trains as a TEAM, and plans as a TEAM. There is no petty dictatorship or Type-A Personality Control Freaks allowed. (The world already has enough of those…)
• There will be a small monthly due. Without dues, the Group cannot purchase Long-Term food supplies, communications gear, or medical kits. Any survival group that doesn’t ask for dues to cover these issues, has a problem with communications.

Folks; I think that sometime between March and June the world will start feeling the initial effects of the 2012 syndrome. It’s not going to happen all at once. It will happen like a summer rain-storm; it will mist into our lives, and then blow like hell when it gets dark…

We have 11-Mont's before the Galactic Alignment, and 11-Months before the Solar Storm reach their peak cycles. There isn’t much time to start bickering, or side-stepping these issues. No matter what you do today; make sure that you and your family will have the ability to eat,drink, and keep war. December 21st 2012 is in the middle of winter.

Survival Perspective: Lonewolf Survivalists At Risk

Survival planning necessitates having the ability to grasp the actuality of the threats one is facing in the future. Then through careful analysis of these threats; an affirmative response is established which minimizes the exposure to that risk.

Throughout the years that I have been involved in survivalism, it's been rare to see discussions on internet forums regarding the vulnerability of the lone-survivalist who is facing an organized- heavily armed street gang during a survival situation. As a matter of fact; I can probably count those discussions on one hand.

Street gangs are present in every major metropolitan cities in the US. Even small town USA is home to loosely organized-but nationally affiliated gangs whose reputation and stature among Law Enforcement are well know.

From a historical context, it's easy to see that mankind is one of the cruelest creatures on the planet. The propensity towards violence is always elevated during a crisis. Bad times brings bad people from out of the shadows of society. This is an undeniable fact that cannot be minimized or ignored by the survival community.
In terms of defense against these gangs, the only conceivable defense centers around the "small group" scenario. Small groups stand a much better chance against armed assaults by criminal gangs; depending on the number of assailants, tactical proficiency, and leadership within both groups.

The "Lonewolf Survivalist" will find themselves in a serious life and death situation when confronted by street gangs during a SHTF event. Something as innocent as driving down the wrong street could result in sudden and unexpected violence. Again; historically the Los Angeles riots are living proof of that theory.

Along America’s unprotected southern borders, a series of events have occurred in the last two years that should make every survivalist in that region sit-up straight and take a very hard look at their survival planning. With the recent news blast about the Mexican drug cartels pushing their product through the deserts; and the news of ATF’s firearms debacles; has clouded the real issues on America borders of heavily armed gangs working their way north into the heartland of America. Their not coming to get jobs at fast-food franchises, or pick tomatoes in the farm fields; they are coming to establish their own brand of gang warfare—the spoils are “Gringo Dollars”…

  

The picture above represent a treasure-trove of military weapons that were interdicted by the Mexican Federal Police. All of the weapons are military grade armaments. Look closely, and its easy to spot the grenades, Motorola radios, ballistic vests, Kevlar helmets; and other equipment that would should have everyone stunned. The weapons cache was discovered right across the border within a stone’s throw of the border.

The media had little to say about this; their politically-correct media experts didn’t want the truth to be known in America. They focused instead on the guns that were flowing south into Mexico—instead of the guns that were seized on the southern borders.


PERSPECTIVE:

1. The Asian Triads control the drug manufacturing base in the Asian countries.
2. The South American cartels control all the drugs grown in that area. They even have their own military force to insure the safety of their drug manufacturing fields; FARC—the military Arm of the Narco-Drug cartels in South and Central America. A heavily armed paramilitary group that is currently fighting their respective governments.
3. Mexico is the distribution base for drugs coming in from around the world. The five major cartels don’t manufacture these drugs—they just move it north into America. The Mexican cartels ONLY job is to insure that their part of the drug distribution network is maintained and the flow of drugs remain uninterrupted.
4. The drugs are then sold to criminal enterprises across America. These are the Drug Barons that pump all the drugs onto the streets.
5. American street gangs are the ones that actually perform the job of selling it on the streets. The major street gangs, and major biker club,s are the leading edge of the distribution system. The “Point Of Sale” in a long line of criminal organizations dealing in drugs, prostitution, illegal guns, armaments, and munitions.
6. Criminal organizations in America already have enough money and power. The only way to insure that they remain in business, and are able to protect themselves from rivalry—is to arm themselves better than the next gang emerging onto the scene.

From a pure survival perspective; these interrelated events seem pretty inconsequential in their separate states. But when combined with crisis scenario, the events could take a very radical, and very violent left-turn when the lights go out, and the police are at home taking care of their own families. When there is no Rule Of Law, and no consequences for criminal activities—those that have lights shining in their Bug Out Location will be targeted, along with the solo-survivalist trying to make I out of the cities.

The likelihood of gang warfare against lonewolf survivalists is exponentially increased as the crisis unfolds. Those survivalist that continue to attempt to maintain their own equilibrium against the odds—will suddenly find themselves out numbered, out gunned, and probably over powered by well armed street gangs and criminal enterprises.

Consider This: Most of America’s Medal Of Honor Winners were presented that award posthumously. I haven’t met a real Rambo yet. It’s doubtful that one man could even begin to comprehend the magnitude of valor that would be needed to face down a dozen machinegun armed thugs slipping down the driveway—and live to talk about it afterwards.



Get to know your neighbors. Forge the alliances that might save your life someday real soon. You absolutely do not have the capacity to do this all by yourself. Get Organized, Get Prepared, Get Trained; and Get Righteous With God…

Survival Perspective: Transportation Shut Down

 

There’s an old saying in the trucking industry; “If You’ve Got It, A Trucker Brought It”.

It’s very easy to stop seeing all of the semi-trucks slowly creeping their way along the roads; simply because there are so many of them. They move slow, block the view, and seem to congregate during rush hours. But what would happen if for some reason the truck-traffic slowed down, or shut-down altogether…

 

Everything Comes To A Screeching Halt !

 

Life in America is dependent upon trucking companies hauling consumer good into distribution centers, and retail stores. Without the trucks delivering freight, the grocery store shelves would be bare, the gas stations out of fuel, and America’s manufacturing base would quickly choke to death.

During the 1973 Independent Trucker Strike; the manufacturing base across the country experienced a sudden drop in wholesale revenues as truckers refused to haul freight until they received and equal portion of the revenue generated. Greedy trucking companies offering sub-standard rates, as well as manufactures low-balling the transportation industry, created the conditions which sent these truckers into parking lots, instead of on the roads. The rising cost of diesel fuel was the primary factor leading to the nationwide truckers strike.

 

The effect was immediate: Grocery stores experienced a sudden reduction in fresh vegetables and produce; beef and other meat product distribution experienced a decline; and all across the country the Trucker Strike was felt at every level in America. Acts of violence broke out; a string of arsons sent many trucks up in smoke. Trucker’s battled each other, and the general public. Anarchy was quickly spreading as the strike gained momentum.

President Jimmy Carter got involved:

I am writing to summarize for you the steps I have taken, or am prepared to take, to assist in assuring that the disruptions by independent truck operators in service is brought to an end. In reaching these decisions, my staff has consulted constantly and closely with the leadership and staff of the National Governors' Association and with individual governors all over the country. The seriousness of the problem facing our nation's economy, if these disruptions continue, cannot be overstated

A national transportation disruption is one survival scenario that cannot be overlooked. Any disruption in the distribution of commodities will have an immediate and dire impact on every person living in the United States.

The Things That Would Disappear The Quickest:

• Fresh Vegetables
• Fresh Fruits
• Fresh Nuts
• Fresh Meat
• Gasoline
• Home Heating Oil
• Propane
• Natural Gas
• Automotive Parts
• Clothing
• Tools
• Wheat, Corn, Soybeans, and other grains
• Textiles used in clothing

Ancillary Effects of A Transportation Disruption:

• Manufacturing plants shutdown
• Retail stores shut down
• Gasoline distribution networks fail
• Airlines forced to cancel domestic services
• School bus transportation services affected

This is just the tip of the iceberg: If America experiences another transportation disruption, the short and long term effects will be almost immediately felt by everyone in the country, and across the globe as well. There are many factors today that can send the transport industry into a state of hyper-parabolic sleep:

• Peak Oil Crisis
• War in the Mideast
• Terrorist Attacks
• Sudden increase of oil prices by OPEC
• National trucker strike
• 2012 Pole Shift Scenarios

It seems that everyday, this rogue nation takes yet another step towards creating another Mideast war that will force NATO and The West to respond with military force. I fear that once this happens; the 5th Column loyalists already inside of the United States will receive the signals from their Iranian handlers to sow destruction on the streets of America.

Survival: Shelter In Place

 

The Law Of Unintended and Unavoidable Consequences dictates that “everything can go wrong, and will go wrong, when one can least afford to see it go wrong, and when one least expects it to go wrong”; this old saying has also been referred to as “Murphy’s Law” but with more sinister undertones.

In the world of crisis preparations; even the best laid plans can quickly become useless as situations rapidly change from one end of the spectrum to another. A classic example would be the March 2011 earthquake that shook Japan, which was immediately followed by a massive tsunami—and finally the “coup de grace” came in the form of nuclear radiation exposure. Every government-civil emergency plan was fundamentally thrown in total and utter disarray; resulting in a hastily prepared, massive evacuation program which quickly overwhelmed the governments ability to sustain.

In the US, we have watched as the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) which has been tasked with the grave responsibility of providing both an early warning capability, and post-crisis response; has miserable failed in their tax supported mission statement.

If the response to calamities of Hurricane Katrina was the best that FEMA could offer; then America is in for a rude awakening should a National or Global crisis occur. This leaves “We The People” that live down here on the streets of America, to what we have always done before—fend for ourselves….

As with FEMA, and the Japanese disasters; survivalists preparing for “The End” face the same obstacles, in terms of survival planning. There simply might not be enough warning, or enough time to initiate those well-laid Bug Out plans. Crisis situation have a way of sneaking up on even the best prepared.

The five crisis events listed below are but a small portion of events which might occur in a rapid manner:

• Tsunami
• Volcanic Eruption
• Mega-Earthquake
• Civil Unrest
• Power Grid Failure
• Wild Fires

The other scenario that might make it difficult to Bug Out and head for the hills, is the simple arithmetic of facing a mass exodus from the cities. Panicked survivors will be fleeing the cities: it would be prudent to assume that every highway leading out of town will be flooded with scared and angry people. Getting caught up in that mess reduces your chance of getting out of harms way.

 

Roadways might not be usable; floods could have taken out major bridges; or the clearly marked evacuation routes might be going up in flames. One of the most prevalent scenarios that I haven’t seen discussed on (internet) survival forums, is the simple fact regarding how crisis are handled by nearly every government:

 

“They Might Not Allow You To Leave !”

 

In nearly every crisis around the world, the Emergency Services do the same thing, the same way—all the time:

1. Isolate the affected area from the rest of the country
2. Seize all food, water, and fuel supplies
3. Impose Martial Law within the affected area through deployment of military and police forces
4. Restrict and/or prohibit the movement into, or out of the affected area
5. Prohibit and/or restrict the use of private firearms

 

No matter how good your survival plan may be, it could stand to reason that the crisis could happen so fast, that your only viable immediate response will have to be a “Shelter In Place” option.

• Food:
  • Three months supply for the entire family
  • Portable emergency cooking stove, and appropriate fuel supplies
  • Dish sanitation procedure
  • Garbage transfer/disposal
  • Household Pet Food

 

•  Water:
  • 1-1/2 Gallons Per Person/Per Day-Minimum of three months drinking water supplies
  • Emergency water purification method, as well as long term storage capability
  • Emergency water supply acquisition plan

 

• Sanitary Supplies:
  • Portable Toilet
  • Biodegradable Toilet Paper
  • Biodegradable Sanitary Chemical
  • Raw Sewage Disposable Method

 

• Communications:
  • Battery Operated Radio
  • Citizen’s Band Radio
  • Commercial Amateur Band (HAM) Radio
  • Shortwave Radio

 

• Medical Treatment:
  • Prescriptions
  • Basic First Aid Kit
  • Feminine Hygiene Supplies
  • Pet Medical Treatment Kit

 

• Self Protection:
  • Defensive Firearms & Ammunition
  • Chemical Protective Suits
  • Gas Masks/Respirators
  • Geiger Counter/Radiation Detector
  • Portable Intrusion Alarm
  • Chemical Detection Kit
  • Chemical Decontamination Kit

 

• Alternative Power Source:
  • Emergency Generator
  • Emergency Fuel Supplies; minimum of 30-Days fuel stockpiled
  • Generator maintenance/repair kit
  • Power Inverter
  • Deep Cycle Battery Bank and associated cables, fuses, and adaptors

 

There are many other issues that need to be explored when setting-up a “Shelter In Place” plan. It’s not just simply a matter of closing and locking the doors; it’s a matter of maintaining your life without attracting attention of the less than fortunate people that have no plan, and have no survival resources.

• Loud generators attract attention
• If yours is the only house on the block with electric lights; expect visitors
• Smoke pouring out of your chimney is a sure sign that you are staying warm, while others are freezing
• The smell of cooking food can waft through the air; beckoning the starving ,masses to your front door.
• A garden full of luscious vegetables might not be there in the morning when you wake up.
• All those chickens, rabbits, goats, and pigs could be feeding somebody else unless you are able to guard them

What’s the answer?

 

Get to know your neighbors real soon. Take the time to walk across the street and have a friendly chat with them about the storms and catastrophes ravaging the world. It won’t take but ten minutes to learn if they agree with you. But, at the first hint that they are worried; offer the neighbor a place at your dinner table in exchange for their help. Hint: “I feed you and your family; you stand guard when I am asleep…” Most of your security problems just disappeared. If the neighbor has any common sense, and depending how you approach the subject--they will probably offer to add to your food stockpile.

 

During a Shelter In Place scenario; you are most vulnerable to outside influences and actions, none of which you have any control over. But, if you have enough eyes and ears on your property, the ratio between predator and prey just tipped in your favor.

 

Do something really great for yourself today; Get To Know Your Neighbors!
